Featuring world-class trumpeter, Joe Burgstaller. Featuring the incredible and internationally acclaimed Irish Pianist, Cathal Breslin, in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Featuring one of history’s most celebrated tuba soloists, Patrick Sheridan. Featuring the distinguished flutist and winner of the Arizona Wind Symphony Soloist Competition, Robert Heiligenberg, on Chaminade’s Concertino. Musical highlights include outstanding repertoire from prominent composers, including Nelson’s Sonoran Desert Holiday, Hazo’s Solas Ane, Bernstein’s Mambo, Sheldon’s Rhapsodic Celebration, Grainger’s Spoon River, and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Consider this the closing ceremonies of a fantastic 25th season celebration!
